2019/20 Season Summary
Highlights - Sochi ICC 1st - Sochi ICC 2nd - Igls World Cup - 4th - World Champs - 10th
This season started really well with a 1st and 2nd on the ICC including me setting a new track record that didn't get beaten all year. This win followed on from my first ever win the year before and was the perfect start to the season. What followed was a bit of an up and down season where the standard of competition on the World Cup week in week out what super tough and by far the hardest I had ever seen. This being said I was still able to record my best ever world cup finish in Igls with a 4th place. After sitting third after run one, I was a tiny bit dissapointed to drop a spot to fourth albeit to the reigning Olympic champion. Some more up and down results continued until we got the the world champs where I was looking for a strong performance on a track that I didn't have a whole lot of runs on. Runs one and two didn't go quite to plan but I was able to improve a lot on three and four to finish in 10th. Ideally I was aiming for a top 8 finish but that wasn't to be based on how day one went.

2018/19 Season Summary
Highlights - Igls ICC 1st - Igls ICC 2nd - European Champs - 5th - Calgary World Cup - 5th - World Champs - 12th
Last season started really well for me, after winning the selection race and gaining my spot on the world cup team there was an opportunity to slide on the Inter-Continental Cup circuit before the world cup season started. These races lead to some of my best ever results and MY FIRST RACE WIN in Igls. I followed that up with two more podiums to ensure I was leading the ICC overall at the halfway point, although I would not be able to race that circuit again with the World Cup taking precident.
Igls ICC 1 - 2nd
Igls ICC 2 - 1st!!
Winterberg ICC 3 - 3rd
Winterberg ICC 4 - 2nd
After these races my world cup season went much much better than I could've imagined and I finished the season with 7 of the 8 races finishing in the top 10 including some top 6 finishes leading to an overall world ranking of 6th at the end of the season. Off the back of being the top ranked Brit in the world my season culminated in being selected for my first world champs where I was relatively happy with a 12th place finish at a track I have very little experience.
Sigulda WC - 12th
Winterberg WC - 10th
Altenberg WC - 8th
Igls WC - 6th
European Champs (Igls) - 5th

Whister WChamps - 12th
2017/18 Season Summary
Highlights - Calgary ICC 2nd - Debut World Cup - 10th - European Champs - 7th
The 2017/18 season for most was abut one thing and that was the Winter Olympic games. It was my first Olympic year being involved with Skeleton and I knew going into it, it would be more intense than any year previous.
The year started off really well with a 2nd place finish in the selection race, I was ahead of 3rd place by only .01 of a second after four runs fully highlighting how close skeleton can be as a sport.
This meant I would start the season where I finished last year on the Inter-continental Cup. This time starting at the 2010 Olympic track and fastest track in the world – Whister, Vancouver. A new track for me it would be a really tough challenge and followed up by two races at a track I had spend some time at – Calgary.
Whistler ICC 1 – 6th
Whistler ICC 2 – 6th
Calgary ICC 3 – 2nd
Calgary ICC 4 – 4th
Such a strong start to the season meant that I was eligible for the world cup and would make my debut at the top level of the sport live on BBC in December the day after my 26th birthday in Igls, Austria and then follow carry on on the world cup tour until the end of the season. The race in Igls also doubled as the European Championships and was my first experience of anything along those lines
Igls WC – 10th / European Champs – 7th
Altenberg WC – 14th
St. Moritz – 20th
Konigssee – 12th
I finished the year ranked 17th in the world something I never imagined was possible in only my second competitive year. I was unluckly with the season I had not to be picked for a spot at the Olympic Games in Pyeongchang but the decision was beyond my control and I did all I could. Overall, another year that was much better than I could ever have expected. The plan now is for another strong summer in Bath training ready to slide again approx. October 2018!

2016/17 Season Summary
Highlights - Igls EC 4th - Igls EC 5th - Park City NAC 2nd - Lake Placid ICC 2nd
The 2016/17 season is my first full time competition season andI will spend the majority of it racing in Europe on the Europa Cup circuit aiming for some top 10 finishes whilst still trying to become a better slider every day. The results I will keep updated on here below:
Sigulda - 9th
Igls - 4th
Igls - 5th
Konigssee - 8th
Konigssee - 17th
After these performances that outdid all my own expectations for the first half of my the season I was informed in December thsa the decision had been made by the selection committee in to move me up to the Intercontinental cup (ICC) for the second half of the season. This is a step up in competition and will mean I compete in the USA and Canada from January 2017 until the end of the season also fitting in a couple of North Americas Cup races rather than returning to Europe as planned. This is a great oppertunity for me to test myself against some top sliders and maybe put in a couple of good performances.
Intercontinental and North Americas Cup Results 2016/17
Park City NAC - 2nd
Calgary ICC - 9th
Calgary ICC - 11th
Lake Placid NAC - 7th
Lake Placid ICC - 2nd
Lake Placid ICC - 11th
The second half of the season really went better than I ever expected it could. A couple of 2nd places, especially the one of the ICC, were easily my best results of the season and were the result of some of my best slides. The whole season has been a great building block and strong foundation for future years and I really am already looking forward to next season starting around October 2017 but first myself and the rest of the team will be back to training at the University of Bath this summer!
